A Swiss national, Mr. Thomas Brodbeck was elected as President of the Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan (SCCIJ) in February 2023, after serving on the Executive Committee for one year.
He spent 20 years at Sika in several positions from RnD, Operations, and global Technical Service before relocating to Japan in 2019. After a business development role, he was appointed as Head of Technical service and a member of the management at Sika Japan where built up a new team as part of a major M&A integration project in recent months.
Mr. Brodbeck also serves on the Executive Operating Board of the European Business Council (EBC).
He holds a degree in business administration and economics from Scuola universitaria professionale della svizzera italiana, Switzerland.
